Add valid CSV to choose columns.
Select at least one column. Row order stays unchanged.

How to select and reorder CSV columns

Paste or open CSV to detect its headers. Uncheck fields to remove them, use Move Up or Move Down to change column order, then select Select columns. Copy or download the result.

Input limits

Use UTF-8 CSV up to 5 MB per input with unique, non-empty headers and consistent field counts. Blank rows are skipped. Output uses commas; formula-like strings gain a leading apostrophe for spreadsheet safety.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove or reorder columns?
All detected columns start selected. Uncheck any you do not need. Move Up and Move Down change the displayed order; the output contains checked columns in that order. At least one column must remain selected.
Are cell values or the order of rows changed?
Rows stay in their original order, and each value stays under its own column header. IDs, Unicode and quoted multiline cells remain strings. The existing CSV validation trims header names and skips blank rows; safe export adds an apostrophe to formula-like strings.
What happens when I edit the input or column choices?
Any edit or option change clears the previous result and disables Copy and Download until you run the tool again. Editing values keeps your column choices. Changing headers resets the choices and order to the newly detected headers. Header-only files are valid.
