FILTER / CSV → CSV
Filter CSV Rows
Keep rows that match a value in one column. Choose Contains or Equals, optionally ignore case, then export CSV locally.
How to filter CSV rows
Paste or open CSV, choose a column, a match mode and a filter value, then select Filter rows. All columns and the original order of matching rows are preserved. Copy or download the result.
Input limits
Use UTF-8 CSV up to 5 MB per input, with non-empty, unique headers and consistent field counts. Blank rows are skipped. Output uses commas; formula-like cells gain a leading apostrophe for spreadsheet safety.

- How are Contains and Equals different?
- Contains matches a literal substring; Equals matches the entire cell. Neither mode uses regular expressions or trims spaces. Values stay as strings, and Ignore Case is off by default.
- What does an empty filter value match?
- An empty Contains value matches every data row. An empty Equals value matches only empty cells, not cells containing spaces. Ignore Case changes matching only; output retains original spelling.
- What if no rows match?
- The result is a CSV with the original headers and zero data rows. It can still be copied or downloaded. A valid header-only input produces the same result.
