Compare Two Lists
Find what is unique and what is shared. Paste one item per line; your lists stay in your browser.
How to compare two lists
Paste one item per line, choose your matching options, then select Compare lists. Copy or download each group as a plain-text file with one item per line. Results contain no repeated items.
Input limits and order
Use up to 5 MB per input. Empty and whitespace-only lines are ignored. Only A and In Both follow list A’s order; Only B follows list B’s order. Empty inputs are valid and produce empty groups where appropriate.

CherryFrequently asked questions
- What does Ignore Case change?
- When enabled, values such as Apple and apple match. The first spelling is retained, and In Both uses the spelling from list A. Ignore Case is off by default.
- Does Trim Whitespace change the output?
- Yes. It removes leading and trailing whitespace before matching and from the output. It is on by default. When off, surrounding spaces remain significant; whitespace-only lines are always ignored.
- Are CSV cells or repeated lines treated specially?
- Each non-blank line is one item, including any commas or quotes. Repeated items are reduced to their first occurrence under your matching options. Use a CSV tool to compare structured records instead.
